FLOuRISH Institute is pleased to announce Doctor’s Café #40, which will be held as follows.
This time, we are delighted to welcome Dr. Shinsuke Imai, recipient of the 2013 Ig Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Dr. Imai and his research team received the award for their research on the biochemical mechanism behind why onions make us cry.
We will also welcome Ms. Shino Tanai from House Foods Group Inc. Together, they will speak on the theme:
“The Reality of Corporate Research
— Research Journeys and Careers through the Story of Onion Research —”
They will share their experiences of conducting research in a corporate environment, the process leading to research outcomes, and their careers as researchers.
