Open Call for Participants: FLOuRISH 2026 Joint Program (including Japan)

FLOuRISH (FL) is now accepting applications for the 2026 FL Joint Program (including Japan). In this training program, students from our university will form teams with students from universities around the world to propose new research fields and solutions to challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration based on science and technology.
This program is open to master and doctoral students at TUAT (including 5th- and 6th-year students in the Cooperative Department of Veterinary Medicine).
Please read the following information carefully before applying. We sincerely look forward to receiving your applications.

■ How to Apply

Download the application form from Google Classroom (Class Code: 5ua6mosa), fill in the required information, and have it signed by your academic advisor.
Please submit the completed documents to the FLOuRISH Office (innov@cc.tuat.ac.jp).
For details, please refer to the application guidelines posted on Google Classroom.

May 25, 12:00 p.m. (Japan Standard Time)

Common Workshop to All Programs

■ Design Thinking (Innovation Workshop)
Day 1: June 15 (9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Day 2: June 17 (9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
*Participants will practice strategically identifying new opportunities, combining science and technology across disciplines, and discussing and proposing ideas with international members.

(Note: Participants may not enroll in more than one program held overseas(Ghana, Indonesia, Poland))

■ Ghana Program
Main Theme: “Leading Sustainable Future: Value Addition to Agriculture and Industry in Ghana”
Partner University: University of Ghana (UG)
Preprogram: 3 times, Main Program in Ghana: August 1–9, Post program: 1 time

■Indonesia Program
Main Theme: “Transition to Science led Development: Nature Tech and Biodiversity”
Partner Universities: University of Indonesia (UI), IPB University
Preprogram: 3 times, Main program in Indonesia: August 17–24, Post program: 1 time

■Japan Program
Main Theme: “Transform Economies and Societies with Bio Science and Technology”
Preprogram: 3 times, Main Program in Japan: September 6–11, Post program: 1 time
Partner Universities: Technical University of Munich (TUM) and other universities

■ Poland Program
Main Theme: “Robot Engineering for Human Securities and Capabilities”
Preprogram: 3 times, Main Program in Poland: October 10–18, Post program: 1 time
Partner Universities: Jagiellonian University (JU), and others
