Doctor’s Café is a forum that brings together researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and other distinguished guests from diverse fields to engage in open discussions and networking. It is open not only to doctoral students who wish to foster interdisciplinary research and gain new perspectives beyond their own research fields, but also to anyone interested in broadening their research and career horizons or expanding their professional network. Doctor’s Café #37 will be co-hosted with AI Salon #14 and will feature two distinguished speakers from Matlantis Inc., an AI startup that develops cutting-edge materials discovery platforms powered by deep learning-based atomic-scale simulations. Through their talks and the panel discussion, participants will explore how AI is transforming materials science and interdisciplinary research, while gaining insights into the evolving role of researchers in the AI era, industry-academia collaboration, and the social implementation of AI-driven technologies.
