<Overview>

The AI Salon is part of the Next-Generation AI Doctoral Fellowship Program (FL-BOOST), which aims to foster future society through cutting-edge research. As part of this initiative, leading AI researchers from Japan and abroad are regularly invited to deliver seminars and participate in research exchange sessions. The AI Salon provides participants with opportunities to engage with the forefront of AI, mathematics, and data science across fields such as agriculture and engineering. It serves as a platform to learn advanced theories and methods, and to exchange ideas and knowledge. (Website: https://www.tuat-flourish.jp/program/fellow/)

For this 9th AI Salon, Part I will feature lightning talks by 12 students. In Part II, we are honored to welcome Professor Bernard De Baets from the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering at Ghent University, Belgium, who will deliver a lecture entitled “Computation and Mathematics in Motion: Tools, Solutions, Frontiers.”
