2024 TUAT Academic Entrepreneur Challenge Pitch Contest
The TUAT Academic Entrepreneur Challenge is a program that supports and fosters students who discover current or future social issues and make proposals based on technological seeds to solve them. The program aims to encourage them to create values by making proposals that lead to new social values. We support their challenges that they are enthusiastic about applying their research results and technologies to solving social issues.
Application requirements:
・Any academic field is acceptable.
・Teams or Individuals representing TUAT students.
・Representatives must attend and present at the pitch contest.
Schedule:
・Application submission period: September to 2, December 2024
・Deadline for TUAT mentoring reservation: 18, November 2024
・Related lectures:
-Design Thinking (27, September)
-Outline of Innovation BASIC (2-3, October) ADVANCED (5, December)
-Others TBD
・Notice of the first round of selection (Document review) : Mid-December 2024
・External mentoring reservation: January to early March 2025
・Final Pitch: 10, March 2025
*We recommend participation in mentoring and related lectures.
Prize:
・President’s prize; Expenditure on promoting hypothesis testing: 1,000,000 JPY.
–Can be used after April 2025, with some restrictions.
–There may be no applicants depending on the screening process.
・Other prize; various other corporate awards:
(Last year’s awards: Nisshinbo Singapore Award, Shimizu NOVARE Award, Indee Japan Award, Star Invention Award, Regene Award, and Fukushima Prefecture Reconstruction Symbol Character “Kibitan” Award)

Please read the “Application Guidelines” from the link in the Google Form below and download the “Application Form for Document Review” form.
Once you have written the “Application for Written Review,” submit it in PDF format via Google Forms.

(14:30-18:00 pitch contest; 18:00-19:00 networking)
Venue: Auditorium, Main Building for Faculty of Agriculture, Fuchu Campus, TUAT.
The contest will be streamed live on YouTube!
