Doctor’s Cafe #19 “In Pursuit of Cute and Playable Robots – A graduate talks about her tumultuous 12 years”
Ms. Yamamoto works for Yukai Engineering Inc., a venture company that develops warm products under the slogan “Robotics for Fun Living”. While searching for ways to cope with her own intractable disease, she created the Good Design Award-winning Petit Qoobo, a AMAGAMI HAM HAM that has become a media sensation, and continues to make things as a hobby. We interview her about her student life back then and her current business activities.
